Using Skeinforge With A Makerbot Cupcake

This page is for capturing the subtle nuances of slicing and rafting fabjects for printing on a Makerbot Cupcake.

Wherever possible, all settings should be explained, related, compared and contrasted using a printable fabject like the Printing Testpart for RepRap Machines.

Default Skeinforge Settings From Scratch

  • Put a usable set of default skeinforge settings here as set from the UI to future-proof against changes in .skeinforge directory structure, file format, etc.
  • Current values pulled from Skeinforge UI shipped with ReplicatorG 0005 with skeinforge_makerbot.zip unpacked in ~/.skeinforge.

MakerBot Skeinforge Settings ZIP file

  • You can download the skeinforge_makerbot_visible.zip file instead of manually entering the settings from this page. The zip file will expand to a directory that is visible in the Finder, hence the filename skeinforge_makerbot_visible.zip. It is identical in all other respects to the original skeinforge_makerbot.zip. These settings are for skeinforge-0005.
