and press the reset button right before you click upload in the Arduino IDE.

To check the USB port (in Windows) press <Windows-Key> + R and type devmgmt.msc, then check the COM node in the navigation tree. Make shure you select the same COM port in the Arduino IDE.

When I upload the sketch, I get the error:

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

I can see from previous posts that this means the board is not responding at all. Am I supposed to jumper something near the USB as someone else reported on an earlier post?? I am to use the board Arduino Diecimila or Duemilanove w/ ATmega168 correct?? How can I tell for sure what serial port to use (under the tools menu)?

When you load a sketchbook, what file am I suppose to open?? There are many files in the folder ArduinoSlaveExtruder.

When I start arduino I get all kinds of errors in red. It doesn't matter if the USB is connected to the computer or not. I get the errors:

Are you folks copying those folders into arduino as instructed:

We have written a few libraries to enable extra functionality such as our packet system and SD card reading/writing. You will need these libraries in order to compile and upload the firmwares. This is very simple to accomplish. Just copy the folders in the libraries/ directory into the hardware/libraries/ folder contained in the Arduino software.

To rephrase: Copy reprap-r3g-firmware-1.x/libraries/* to arduino-00xx/hardware/libraries/

I got all those errors after I copied those folders over…

what you want to do is download replicatorg; in teh zip file there is drivers for the ttl cable.

after you have that you can use the arduino 0015 software to upload the code onto the boards.

i have had no success with the svn content but the stable versions work just fine available here:

We are to use the USB to TTL cable to upload the programs, correct?? Are we supposed to apply power to the boards when we upload a program (using ATX power supply). Can anyone offer any tips to get this to work??
