After getting a better set of files and spending some time on it, I was able to fix up the threads on the heater barrel. I used some spare balsa wood to sandwich the barrel in my vice so I could grip it without ruining the threads. Worked like a charm!

I am not sure how well it will work though, I have not gotten my extruder motor yet so fixing the barrel has not been a priority. I'll post a picture though when I get a chance. I think I can use a file to clean up one side, not sure about the other though.

I found that the nozzle only fit on one side, and the barrier doesn't fit on either. My response to the barrier was to just keep twisting the barrel 'till the barrier threads stripped around it, essentially "drilling" the barrel into the barrier.

We'll see how well that works in terms of debris trapped in the nozzle X_X

Any suggestions?
