I should have probably been more specific. With SF 35 the profiles are indeed there, but there are non for any more recent version of SF.

I have now also given up on more recent versions of SF. Though I remain confused as to why I cant get it to work :|

Print-O-Matic (POM), It's OK, it took me a second too, but the context of generating gcode made me think of it.

I gave up on SF above 35. I use Slic3r for the prusa and SF35 for the TOM. This weekend I have even gone back to firmware 3.0, 0.5mm nozzle and print-o-matic just to get normal prints from the TOM again. I am not making any progress on the Jetty accelerated profiles.

I am confused with your profile comment. The TOM profiles are there in my Rep 34 (including Cupcakes and other weird stuff). Are you sure your directories are all in order?

Finally had time to do some testing with this. tried SF 47 on repg 0031 (the latest one i could find with a PLA setting on POM), and was getting the same issues (too much filament extruded). So tried SF 35 on same repg and its finally making support structures for me.

I'm a bit miffed that I cant get any more recent versions of SF working. I'm also a bit miffed they removed TOM profiles, which as far as I can see are not present from repg 0031 onwards. Feels to me like MBI is trying to encourage hardware upgrades…

I guess you have a TOM. I am in the same boat.

I have just recently upgraded the firmware to 3.1 and then downgraded to 3.0 avoid the Z-axis issue, then just moved to Jetty and have been printing without acceleration (it took me a while to find out how to turn it off using the LCD). This is firmware 3.1 without the bugs plus a bunch of good extras on the LCD panel. The extruder board is at the highest available firmware.

If you do not have a need for speed this is a good setup. Further experimentation may one day lead to using accelerated profiles (by the way some file editing is required to be able to see the profiles as seen here: [http://wiki.makerbot.com/forum/t-469050/sk35-profiles-do-not-show-up-on-generate-gcode-dialog-in-rep]).

I am still using trusty old Skeinforge 35 (avoiding the dimension thing for the time being) as I have not being able to get slic3r to produce good TOM Gcode. Slic3r is absolutely great for my Prusa running on Marlin but I have not dedicated enough time to get it going for the TOM since SK35 works.

I am using Repg 34 and it works great. This one has all the TOM profiles needed. Everyone has their favorite TOM setup, but for me it it is SK35, Repg 34, Jetty firmware. I am not on the "bleeding" edge but I am happy with the prints being produced.

So its been a good 6 months since I looked at the replicatorg website. I had a look on the weekend and noticed version 37 and skeinforge 50, i have stock firmware 3.1. I had a little go yesterday, but couldnt get any decent prints at all, it seems to me the whole thing is set up for the replicator… they dont even include any TOM profiles(!)

It did get me wandering if this was the best software combination anyway. I've seen jetty mentioned, but I'm not entirely clear on the benefits I'm happy to wait longer for nicer prints. I've also seen slic3r mentioned but cant tell if that's suitable for the TOM. Can anyone suggest an up-to-date software combination for the TOM?

ps: should i be using the dimension plugin?
