Don't take this the wrong way but the ABP is nothing more than a novelty for small items. If you want quality or height, ditch the ABP. No belt will ever work-metal or not. The facts are that it simply gives room to stretch and it will always be cooler at the edges causing thermal stress in the layer of plastic until the print fails. You cannot beat physics.

There is a reason nearly everyone dumps them after a few prints, the Replicator doesn't even have it as an option nor will it ever.

I was wondering if anyone hass experience with the Titanium belt for the ABP. Is it flat, does it lift when printing tall things? Also, has anyone tried puttin Kapton tape on it as a build surface?

My question comes from an attempt to print the Venus statue and observing that the ABP belt actually lifted (the raft was still secured.) I know about the tension adjuster to add-on the ABP, but worry that it would be too much tension and would not allow the belt to move easily. Any thoughts?

Regards
