When I first saw Thingiverse, I wanted to contribute models but also didn't want to flood the site with stuff nobody was going to print, especially if I wasn't going to print them myself because a lot of the time there'd be no guarantee I was even giving the community something that *could* be printed. So I sat on my hands.
But then, while browsing this quite young forum, I saw someone looking for an isocahedron model, and this was easy, likely to work, and had an existing user wanting to print it. So I did it, and thus the .stl dice pack was made.
Question: anyone else have a need for some modeling to print parts? I want to try to model a gear box at some point, but it'd be best if I had a known model motor as a target…
