The plastruder is a great open design. I have seen other CNC designs and others may need different sizes or requirements. what kind of software control hardware control could linux cnc or other software offer for this?
I was told the brute cnc on crankorgan.com was too slow for this to work. But I am learning linux cnc. It seems like the spindle speed is like the plastruder speed so if some kind of speed control was avalable then the design could be flexible. also if this can make circuit boards or lay conductive plastic traces then surface mount pc boards can be made… one sided would even be ok if the through holes were hand done or if they were done by the same machine that would be even cooler.
