Hi

a friend of mine has recently bought a makerbot, and I would like to create objects for his printer, but I struggle with the skeinforge script. On the console I have thw following errormessages:

cd '/Applications/replicatorg-0005/skeinforge/' && '/usr/local/bin/pythonw'  '/Applications/replicatorg-0005/skeinforge/skeinforge.py'  && echo Exit status: $? && exit 1
edit .bash_profile for changing terminal env variables...
edit private/etc/profile for changing gobal env variables...

File rocket.stl is being chain exported.

I am running 10.5.7 and I tried with python 2.5.2 / 2.6.2 / 3.1.0

on start I reach the skeinforge reference window, and I can press the button "skeinforge" and choose sn stl file, but the the application exits without giving any clear errormessage.

has anybody an idea?

Hey Martin,
I've had a few issues with Skeinforge on OSX in the past as well, so I'll do my best to help you out.
First of all, make sure you're using the Python Launcher to run the script. I haven't been able to open it any other way.
Regarding the error message, one thing that I've had some success with is deleting the Skeinforge preferences. To do this, run Skeinforge and try to chose a file. Once it shuts down on its own, find the terminal window that's empty, and type: "cd", and hit enter. Next type "rm -rf .skeinforge/" and hit enter. This should delete all the preferences you have for Skeinforge, so you'll have to go back in and re-configure everything, but it should fix your problem.
If this doesn't work, try downloading a previous version of RepG from here:

http://code.google.com/p/replicatorg/downloads/list?can=1&q=&colspec=Filename+Summary+Uploaded+Size+DownloadCount

If that doesn't work, the only other thing I can think of doing is re-installing the drivers from the RepG folder.
