Hi, this post is form Tx/Rx Labs in Houston Tx.

We are having the problem that our heating barrel is overshooting the target temperature. In fact if the target temperature drops one or two degree below the target temperature the barrel will over heat by ~16 degree C.

Possible cause: Nicrome wire before solder was 6 ohms but 5.7 ohms after soldering.

Is the potentiometer on Plastruder board to adjust heating feedback? Is there a software solution(in ReplicatorG) to our problem? Other thoughts?
