Double thick idler wheel problems
After finishing my Cupcake CNC and mounting the plastruder, I encountered a problem. The Plastruder stopped extruding while printing. After doing some troubleshooting and visiting this page: http://wiki.makerbot.com/when-things-go-wrong , I found out that the problem was that the plastic filament slipped off the idler wheel. they then suggest using both idler wheels and make a double thick one. I don't understand how that is supposed to work though, since I tried it, and the double thick idler wheel is way too thick to fit in between the "flanges" of the pinch wheel, so the spacing between the pinch wheel and the idler wheel is too big, and it won't "grib" the plastic.
Can anybody help me? I'm lost
