Hi. I bought an assembled Extruder Controller from my friend who make them and sell them. I got the board un-programmed, and then whipped up some wires to use my Arduino Mega as ISP programmer. I can flash the bootloader on the ATMEGA328 just fine that way, i select "Arduino Duemilanove or Nano w. ATMEGA328" the flash of the bootloader works just fine, and after programming the DEBUG LED blinks 1 times a second. Is this normal for the Bootloader ?
Disconnecting the ISCP cable and connecting the EC to my computer via the USB plugs, it shows up in device manager as do the Arduino Mega when plugged in. I cannot program the EC from within ReplicatorG or Arduino software environment. When i try upload new firmware from ReplicatorG the RX LED blinks a few times, and nothing more happens. Is there any way to program a serial echo program via ISP (in the Arduino IDE) to verify the Serial link is working ?
I cannot se any solder bridges or anything missing on the PCB, so it should work.
