Crazy Dual Extrusion Question

I get the typical dual extrusion feature of cutting one object into two STL files so ReplicatorG can merge them into one print job using both extruders, but what about printing two objects, one with the left and one with the right - the objects are in one STL file and are side-by-side??

My goal is to be able to print two separate objects next to each other, the object on the left is completely the color of the plastic in the left extruder and the object on the right is completely the color of the plastic in the right extruder… is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

So the easiest way is to just make both extruders run at the same time. Either edit the gcode to make both extruders run or physically connect a second stepper driver to the second extruder motor while splitting the original signal. Obviously the part cannot be wider than the offset between the two heads.

Thanks Jetguy. I messed up the explanation, wanted to print the objects with only the colors of the individual extruders not both objects on one extruder - my bad.

I ended up modifying the position of each object in their own STL files, moved one to the left and one to the right. I then used those files with the ReplicatorG merge function… all works great!
