So I just inherited a Thing-o-matic w/ ABP and MK6 extruder and its buggy as all hell. I have set everything up and calibrated it but when I went to make the calibration build (20mm cube), Replicator G seems to "freeze". So I upload the gcode and click build. the ToM moves to its start position (i guess?) and then stops and will literally sit there till I stop the build. The command prompt esque window in Replicator G has 4 lines: building…, estimating build time and scanning code for errors…, estimated build time is: 11 mins, beginning build.
At first I thought that the ToM was waiting for the MK6' temperature to be over 220 deg. C (since my temp read under 220) So I increased the PID gains and verified that I can heat up the MK6 to 223 deg C. But even that made no difference. I am currently 246/4912 commands in and have an elapsed time of over 14 minutes. Is there anything that would cause Replicator G or the arduino from moving to command 247? Thanks for your help!
