About the Lasercut Wood Panels

The Thing-O-Matic's wood panels will have charred edges as a result of the laser cutting process. You can use a damp paper towel to wipe off the residual ash from the edges. If you're planning on painting your Thing-O-Matic, clean the edges first. Inevitably you'll transfer some of the ash to surface parts and make smudges, much like newsprint on a white keyboard, so don't skip this step if you like things neat and clean!
